Dow tanks 500+ points, 10-yr. Treasury tops 2% on inflation spike U.S. stocks tanked on Thursday as the yield on the 10-year Treasury jumped above 2%, the highest level since July of 2019. The spike followed Consumer price data which showed a 7.5% rise, the most since 1982. Disney bucked the selling closing with a 3.3% gain. In commodities, oil closed at $89.88 per barrel.
